The Work of Building
Today’s Reading: Philippians 2:12-13; James 2:14-24
Devotional: Building a life on Christ requires more than wishful thinking—it demands work. The wise builder dug deep, clearing away sandy soil to reach solid rock. This excavation process is uncomfortable and time-consuming. You may need to dig through layers of false teaching, toxic relationships, or undisciplined habits. Some Christians want God's blessings without obedience, fruit without roots, and harvest without planting. But faith without works is dead. God provides the strength, but we must pick up the shovel. What needs clearing from your life today?
What character flaws, worldly attachments, or spiritual laziness must be removed? Remember, God is working in you, but you must work out your salvation with intentional effort and holy determination.
