Remember and Rejoice

Reading: Psalm 103:1-5; 1 Samuel 17:34-37


Devotional: Spiritual amnesia is joy's greatest enemy. David faced Goliath with confidence not because he was fearless, but because he was faithful to remember. He recalled the lion, the bear, and God's deliverance. Your past victories are fuel for present faith. When you intentionally remember God's faithfulness—how He saved you, healed you, provided for you, protected you—gratitude rises and joy returns. Start a gratitude inventory today. List ten things God has done in your life. Revisit your testimony. Let memory become your ministry to yourself. The same God who brought you through yesterday is with you today. Your history with Him is the foundation for hope in Him.
