WHO WE ARE

The name Household of Faith comes from Galatians 6:10 which says
"as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good to all, and
especially to those who are of the household of faith."

Our Logo

The logo depicts a cross over a house of believers which represents their willingly surrendering to the lordship of Christ. The burgundy color represents the blood of Jesus which was required for our salvation.  1 Peter 1:18-19 says knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, [like] silver or gold, from your aimless conduct [received] by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. The light over the house depicts the light of Christ shining from the changed lives of those in the house, which can draw others to Christ as we let it shine. Matthew 5:16 says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Those in the house are unified and have one God (Matthew 22:37-38), one mind (John 13:34-35; Phil 1:27), and one mission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our  Values

One clearly represents unity, primacy, the first, the best, the only, it has no divisors, no factors, no components, and it is universal, whole and complete. One is independent of all other numbers, is the source of all other numbers. In this sense, it represents God as the beginning and the end, the prime impulse, the source of creation. One usually represents God, His sovereign rule, His omnipotence, His supremacy, His unique character. One excludes all differences for there is no second with which it can either harmonize or conflict. Thus one can also represent harmony, unity or peace but because of its reference to God it also means harmony, unity or peace with God.

Our Mission

Our mission at the Household of Faith is to be a ministry of excellence designed to be an agent of change that transforms lives through the proclamation, demonstration, and personal application of the Word of God so that all may come to know Christ Jesus.

Our Vision

God is calling the Household of Faith...
  • To be a place where lives are transformed, and where people experience the presence of God in a tangible way as they find love, hope, encouragement, restoration, strength and direction for their lives.
  • To be a place that will impact the world as a result of winning people to Christ and membership in His family by demonstrating genuine love for all people regardless of race, gender, and culture.
  • To be a place where believers are developed into disciples of Christ through sound biblical teaching, relevant preaching, small groups, seminars, retreats, and conferences that promote spiritual growth.
  • To be a place where disciples of Christ are equipped to utilize their spiritual gifts and relational evangelism to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Mark 12:29-31)

Our Core Beliefs

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer
Based on the foundational truths taught in the bible We Believe:

  • The Bible to be the inspired written Word of God that is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of all mankind and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.
  • In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
  • That Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, He sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest and Advocate.
  • That all people have sinned and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is by repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
  • In the necessity of the work, power and presence of the Holy Spirit in the life of every believer which enables us to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
  • That water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church but they are not to be regarded as means of salvation.
  • That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.
