The ONE (Ongoing Newlywed Experience) Ministry helps both married and single participants build healthy families and become one with God and with each other through Small Group studies, Marriage Retreats and events. The Marriage Ministry is made up on adults who are seeking to balance the spiritual, physical, emotional and social aspects of life. Meeting in small groups to study God's Word, adults will learn that their peers are seeking the very same balances in their lives. Navigation of life's issues, as most adults will find, is easier with the support and fellowship of other couples who want to strengthen their marriage. From group fellowship to personal conversations just between you and your spouse, this is an opportunity to join with the Holy Spirit and participate in the word God is doing in you to build up a healthy marriage.
This ministry also holds Pre-Marital/Engagement Class to equip couples with the tools to establish a healthy marriage. Participants gain valuable insight and understanding into what it takes to become one and covers foundational blocks that help build a firm foundation for your marriage, such as connections with God, communication with each other, conflict resolution, intimacy, finances and family relationships. The cost is $50 per couple. You do not have to be a member or regular attendee of the Household of Faith to participate in these classes. Couples who complete ten hours of this approved pre-marriage curriculum receive a certificate that, when presented to their county clerk, saves $60 on their marriage license.
