Meet the Pastors

Pastor Valerie and I are thrilled that you have decided to get to know us!  We'd like to share a few things from our heart to yours. The Household of Faith is on a mission that is the foundation for everything we say, do, believe and promote.  Simply stated, our mission is to transform lives through the proclamation, demonstration, and personal application of the Word of God so all may come to know Christ Jesus.  The example of Jesus loving our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40) is ingrained in our every effort to reach neighbors in our immediate community and around the world. When you visit, you'll find warm smiles to greet you; vibrant worship music to lift your soul, and powerful teaching from God's Word that will transform your life. So if you are ready to discover the powerful life and ministry that your Heavenly Father has in store for you, my wife Valerie and I would like to personally invite you to visit our Worship Services and one of our Small Groups! We hope you'll make a decision to come join the family. We believe what you need is in The House!

Pastor Valerie J. Hooper
Executive Pastor |Co-Founder

Valerie Hooper, affectionately referred to as "Pastor Val," is a native of Sugarland, Texas, the wife of Bishop Calvin Hooper, and the mother of five. She is also a veteran of the United States Army. Pastor Val graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from American Intercontinental University.

A Christian woman of virtue, poise, and grace, Pastor Val is known as a teacher, administrator, leader, businesswoman, Executive Pastor, and First Lady of the Household of Faith Christian Fellowship Church, fondly referred to as "The House" which she co-founded with her husband in June 2003 along with their five children.

Pastor Val openly shares her past triumphs and testing, including rape, low self-esteem, abuse, and fear of rejection. Her passion is ministering to women, who are broken, and hurting and assisting them in achieving spiritual and emotional wholeness. One of her primary goals is to help women discover their God-given purpose.

While serving in ministry in Killeen, TX God gave her the name for a Women's Conference "Designer Original". In 2006, God stirred Pastor Val's heart to begin the Designer Original Women's Conference, and with the support of her husband, the Conference was born. Pastor Val has touched women's lives, through the Women's Conference as she ministers to women on how the ultimate designer, Jesus Christ, has fashioned them. She encourages women to appreciate the person God has called them to be: "A Designer Original." She is also a published author. Her first book, When God Has Had Enough, is available through Amazon, and she has more books to come.

Of her many roles, Pastor Val especially cherishes that of wife to a mighty man of God, mother to five incredibly gifted children, and grandmother to five children. Pastor Val continues to seek God's direction for her life as she has learned that all things are possible with Christ.
