The Sufficiency of Scripture

Today's Reading: 2 Timothy 3:14-17; Psalm 19:7-11

Devotional: God's Word contains everything necessary for salvation, sanctification, and successful living. It saves us from sin, secures our eternal destiny, strengthens us for daily battles, and sets us apart for holy purposes. Scripture is not merely helpful—it is sufficient. You need no additional revelation, no secret knowledge, no supplementary wisdom beyond what God has already provided. The Bible equips you for every good work, making you complete and thoroughly furnished.

Yet many Christians treat Scripture as optional, preferring self-help philosophies or cultural ideologies. The righteous house will stand because it is built on sufficient truth. Are you content with God's Word, or are you seeking answers elsewhere? Trust that what God has spoken is enough. His Word will accomplish His purposes in your life.
