Faith in the Face of Opposition

Devotional: The widow of Zarephath lived in Baal's territory, yet chose to believe in the God of Israel. Similarly, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood firm in their faith despite facing a fiery furnace.

In what areas of your life do you feel pressure to conform to the world's standards rather than God's? Faith often means standing firm when everything and everyone around you suggests otherwise. Today, identify one area where you need courage to stand for your faith, and ask God for strength to remain steadfast.

Prayer: God, grant me the courage to stand firm in my faith, even when I face opposition or ridicule. Let my life be a testament to Your faithfulness.
