Obedience in the Face of Uncertainty

Reading: GEN.22.1-5, HEB.11.17-19

Devotional: Abraham's willingness to sacrifice Isaac is a powerful testament to faith-filled obedience. God sometimes asks us to do things that seem unreasonable or even impossible from our limited perspective. In these moments, we're called to trust His character and promises, even when we can't see the outcome. Reflect on a time when God asked you to step out in faith. How did you respond?

Remember, true faith is "confident obedience to God's Word despite circumstances and consequences." Today, ask God to strengthen your faith and willingness to obey, even when the path ahead is unclear. Trust that He sees the bigger picture and will provide, just as He did for Abraham.
