Standing Firm in Righteousness

Devotional: Our sermon series speaks about "Living Right When the World Has Gone Left." This calls for standing firm in righteousness even as society moves in the opposite direction. Today's reading from Ephesians provides us with the spiritual armor we need for this stand.

Reflect on each piece of the armor of God. How can the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit equip you to live righteously in a challenging world?

Remember, our strength for this stand comes not from ourselves, but from the Lord and His mighty power. As you face situations today where righteousness seems difficult or unpopular, consciously put on the full armor of God. Stand firm in His strength, not your own.
