Your Personal Commitment Jesus

Devotional:

Statistics show that most Americans claim to have made a personal commitment to Jesus, yet many also believe good works save them—a contradiction revealing a shallow understanding. True commitment to Christ means surrendering to His lordship, not just adding Him to your life like an accessory. Paul urged Timothy to preach the Word in season and out of season because people would gather teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. That time has come. Joshua challenged Israel: "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve."

The same choice stands before you. Romans promises that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Today, make it personal: Have you truly committed your life to Jesus as both Savior and Lord? If not, today is your day of salvation.
