Living as Kingdom Citizens Reading: Philippians 3:20-21, Colossians 3:1-4

Philippians 3:20-21 - For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

Colossians 3:1-4 - If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

Devotional: As believers, we have a unique identity - we are citizens of heaven living on earth. This dual citizenship should profoundly impact how we live our daily lives. We're called to represent our heavenly home while navigating earthly challenges.

Paul encourages us to set our minds on things above. This doesn't mean we become so heavenly-minded that we're no earthly good. Rather, it means we view our earthly lives through the lens of our heavenly citizenship.

Today, consider how your heavenly citizenship influences your decisions, relationships, and priorities. Are there areas where you need to align more closely with your heavenly identity? Ask God to help you live as a faithful ambassador of His kingdom in your sphere of influence.
