Waiting for the Rain

Rizpah's vigil lasted from the beginning of harvest until the rain fell - possibly five to six months. Her persistence in waiting for God's response teaches us about patient endurance in prayer.

Are there situations in your life where you've been waiting for God's "rain" of restoration or breakthrough?

Reflect on how you can maintain hope and continue in faithful intercession, even when the answer seems delayed. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and sometimes the waiting period is as important as the answer itself. Ask God for the strength to "keep up your patient vigil" until you see His response.
