Rizpah stood between her sons and disgrace, embodying the heart of an intercessor. God is still looking for people willing to "stand in the gap" for others - for families, communities, churches, and nations.
Reflect on who or what God might be calling you to intercede for. Are you willing to stand between dishonor and dignity for someone else? Consider starting a prayer journal to record your intercessions and watch for God's responses. Ask God to give you a heart that's willing to persevere in prayer, even when it's uncomfortable or seems hopeless.
